Brett Broesder
Brett is a veteran strategic communications pro with over fifteen years of experience tackling high-profile private, public, and voluntary-sector challenges.
Recently, Brett served as the Connecticut state director – and lead in-state on-the-record spokesperson – for Mike Bloomberg’s 2020 Presidential campaign.
Also, he served as a senior communications advisor for dozens of political campaigns, including Ned Lamont for CT Governor (2018), Susan Bysiewicz for CT Lieutenant Governor (2018), Shawn Wooden for CT State Treasurer (2018), Peter Kilmartin for RI Attorney General (2010), Barack of Obama for America (2007), and Sheldon Whitehouse for U.S. Senate (2006).
He also has a vast array of corporate communications experience, working with Fortune 500 and 50 clients at the regional, national, and international levels. And, he worked as a media relations specialist and account manager at two of the world’s largest public relations firms: Ketchum and H+K Strategies.
Furthermore, he served as a senior executive at two non-profit organizations, head of communications for the Montana Democratic Party, director of policy and legislation for the Rhode Island Office of Attorney General, head of communications and digital media for the City’s of Hartford and Bridgeport, CT, and an elected member of Milford, CT’s Planning and Zoning Board.
He is a graduate of Rhode Island College (RIC) and an MBA candidate at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU).
